Instagram - should you stay or should you go?

Instagram changes their Privacy policy as of 16 January 2013...

Either you love it, or you hate it... those Instagram photos that everyone shares with their friends and family... either way, Instagram is used by millions of people to share their images.

In September 2012, Facebook purchased Instagram for a record sum.... some people felt that this was a good move, since you could easily share your photos with anyone on Facebook. Others immediately deleted their accounts! 

The latest twist saw a notice of the change in the Privacy Policy as of 16 January 2013. Read up on the new policy here.

Why Facebook is no longer so great for photographers

Around the beginning of October, Facebook once again changed things on us. Yes - supposedly another unannounced roll-out of something new and fabulous on Facebook.

This time however, the change is a big deal for photographers who rely on their Facebook Page for marketing. You simply won’t reach your audience unless you pay Facebook … per post.

Adobe launches updates for Camera Raw and Lightroom

Lightroom 3.6 update

The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.6 update includes these enhancements:

  • Additional camera support for several new camera models including the Canon Powershot S100, Fuji FinePix X10, and Nikon 1 J1.
